Farm House Treats – Funeral & Outside Catering Services
These Terms & Conditions apply to all bookings made with Farm House Treats. By confirming a booking, you agree to the terms outlined below.
1. Booking & Confirmation
All bookings are subject to availability and are only confirmed once final details, including guest numbers and service requirements, have been agreed.
Final numbers must be confirmed in advance of the event to allow for accurate preparation and service delivery.
Any additional teas and coffees served at an event will be charged at £2.50 plus VAT per cup.
For serviced events we can provide crockery hire at a charge of £1.50 per head.
Disposable cups and plates are provided free of charge.
2. Payment Terms
Full payment must be received prior to the event.
An invoice will be issued via email once final numbers are confirmed.
We accept bank transfer or cash payments only.
Failure to complete payment in advance may result in cancellation of the booking.
3. VAT
A 20% VAT charge will be applied to all serviced funerals or functions.
This will be clearly outlined on your invoice.
4. Allergies & Dietary Requirements
Due to environmental health regulations, as a home caterer we are not permitted to cater for individuals with food allergies.
If allergen-specific food is required, it is the client’s responsibility to source this independently.
We are happy to serve externally sourced food alongside our catering, provided it is clearly labelled and identified to our staff in advance.
Farm House Treats accepts no liability for food not prepared by us.
5. Service & Equipment
Where agreed as part of your booking, we can provide tablecloths, napkins and serving equipment.
We take great care in presentation and service to ensure a respectful and professional experience at all times.
Any items provided must be left in reasonable condition following the event.
6. Delivery & Setup
Delivery and setup times will be agreed in advance.
It is the client’s responsibility to ensure access to the venue is available at the agreed time and that adequate space is provided for setup and service.
7. Cancellations
Cancellations should be made as early as possible.
Any costs already incurred may be chargeable.
8. Liability
Farm House Treats will not be held liable for delays caused by circumstances outside of our control, issues relating to venue access or facilities, or food supplied by third parties.
All food prepared by us is handled in accordance with food safety standards and best practices.
9. Service Commitment
We understand the sensitive nature of funeral catering. Our team is committed to delivering a professional, respectful and discreet service at all times.
